Jer:29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.""
We struggle and strive to make life conform to our opinions, values, and desires. We strive to get ahead and pull on the reins trying desperately to direct our lives. At some point we need to surrender God, for He has plans for us beyond our imagination. God wants the best for us, he wants to use us for His glorious purposes, and for us to eventually spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
But we continue to kick against the goads, and chase after the wind.
